Thank you for listening to episode 22 of the Welding Tips & Tricks Podcast. Today we would like to take a look back at 2016 and see what each of us accomplished, wished we could have done and unexpected things that came up. We also look into 2017 and share our goals for next year like what do we want to accomplish business wise, what equipment would we like to add to our shop, what would we like to learn new and maybe finish up goals from 2016. We also dive into becoming better people, Fathers, Husbands and friends. This is the basis of what drives us to succeed in business and the three of us feel it is important to remind ourselves, and the listeners, what is really important and drives us forward. We would really like to hear each listeners review of 2016 and your goals for 2017. The interaction between us and the listeners is what we are looking for and listening to your story really helps push us forward. Please take a few minutes to send us a email, weldingtipsandtrickspodcast@gmail.com, or send any one of us a DM on Instagram.

Hi and thanks for listening to episode 18 of the Welding Tips and Tricks Podcast.  For this weeks episode we wanted to talk about the importance of tolerances.  Just because you can lay a nice bead doesn't mean the part is good if you can't hold dimensions.  Hope you can pick up a few tips from this talk to help up your game or just realize the importance of paying attention to dimensional details.  So download, pop in those earbuds, hit play, drop your hood, and enjoy!

HI and Thanks for listening to episode 16 of the Welding Tips and Tricks Podcast!  We have had a very common theme with all the guests we've had on so far.  Everyone has all said paying attention to all the small details is one of their main reasons for being a successful weldor.  Rush Kane had said 95% is the prep and %5 is the welding.  When you see his work you know he can't be wrong.  We wanted to really dive into this theory and explain how we Sweat the Details on our jobs and with our welding.  This mindset can be very important and really step your game up to the next level in welding.  Sometimes it can be as simple as stepping back and thinking about what to do before doing it.  So download this episode, hit play, drop your hood, and Enjoy!

Where can you find a Fupa Cup?

If you're thinking of buying a Fupa Cup that we had talked about head over to Weldmongerstore.com and pick up a set.  You wont be disappointing in this purchase.  I like to use a Fupa cup for all my stainless welding.  The gas flow that comes out of this cup is great!  Really helps stabilize puddle control and flow.  Again, you wont be disappointed with this purchase.  After you weld with one you'll wonder why you waited so long.   -Roy Crumrine  Crummy Welding

Need a Tig Finger?

The Tig Finger works awesome. It allows you to rest your hand on your hot work piece while you are welding to keep more consistent movement. I usually use it on my torch hand so I can slide it across the work keeping the arc focused where I want it. Very well made.

Need a Stubby Gas Lens Kit?

"Want to shrink your 17/26 torch down to a manageable size and still maintain great gas coverage? I highly recommend a Stubby Gas Lens Kit from weldmonger.com. Before I was using the giant gas lens' and while that is fine for some projects I was running into projects where the standard set up was not fitting inside a part of was just cumbersome to use. The Stubby Gas Lens Kit shrinks the 17/26 torch down to a usable size. These are also a gas lens so you will get better coverage over a standard cup." -Jonathan Lewis

Need a Tig Finger?

If you do not have a Tig Finger in your box you don't know what you're missing. This is a tool that I use almost daily while welding.  Gives me something to prop on every time and not worry about burning up my finger or glove.  A key point of welding is being comfortable.  When your finger is burning up it's really hard to stay steady and smooth, trust me I know.  Having a Tig Finger on allows me to stay comfortable and also slides along nicely giving me that extra edge to keep my welds consistent.  I will always have a Tig Finger an arms reach away while working.  -Roy Crumrine
